PUBG Update 4.3 – Survival Mastery & New Shotgun

PUBG update 4.3 is rolling out to the PC test server, introducing a new progression system called Survival Mastery. Unlike the existing Weapon Mastery system, which levels weapons through kills and damage, Survival Mastery awards XP for non-combat actions such as looting, using items, engaging in scuffles, and reviving teammates. This system grants rewards primarily for the new PUBG ID, which allows players to customize their profile with backgrounds, emblems, poses, and stat displays. When a level does not grant an ID reward, players receive Battle Points (BP) instead.

The update also adds a match summary timeline that recaps all survival activities performed during a match, and players can review previous matches to track their habits. A Survival tab provides an analysis of recent matches, highlighting the most prominent playstyle traits. This feature gives players insight into their typical behavior, such as whether they tend to loot aggressively or prioritize reviving teammates.

In addition to the progression and analytics systems, PUBG 4.3 introduces a new shotgun, the DBS, which will initially be exclusive to care packages.
