Pulsing Aura: Pokemon TCG Pocket Release & Cards

Pulsing Aura, the next Pokemon TCG Pocket booster pack, arrives next week with Mega Lucario and Mega Sceptile as its cover stars. The pack art depicts a clash, and the trailer saved their reveals for the finale. The opening shot showed Riolu and Treecko. Release date: April 30, despite a trailer glitch showing April 28. The trailer slowly built excitement, moving from basics to the Mega finale.

The set includes many Pokemon across rarity tiers. One-diamond basics: Riolu, Treecko, Croagunk, Wooper. Two-diamond: Bewear, Hattrem. Three-diamond: Emboar, Budew. Four-diamond ex cards: Mega Lucario, Mega Sceptile, and Vaporeon—Pocket’s first ex for that species. Bewear and Hattrem evolve from Stufful and Hatenna, while Emboar and Budew are final-stage evolutions.

Urshifu debuts with two four-diamond cards: one for Rapid Strike and one for Single Strike. These cards are expected to be four-diamond ex rarities, matching the cover stars. The Rapid Strike card likely emphasizes speed, while Single Strike focuses on power, giving players a choice.

Three illustration rares were shown, featuring Quagsire, Kubfu, and Bisharp. Non-Pokemon cards include Korrian (Supporter), Arena of Antiquity (Stadium), and Field Blower (Item), offering new tactical options.

With Mega Evolution cards making their debut and Urshifu joining the roster, Pulsing Aura is poised to shake up Pocket’s competitive scene when it launches on April 30. The expansion introduces new mechanics and support cards that will likely influence deck building and tournament play. Collectors will also have chase cards in the illustration rares.
