Pokemon TCG Pocket: Paradox Drive Set Revealed

Pokemon TCG Pocket’s next booster pack, Paradox Drive, will introduce Ancient and Future Pokémon to the game for the first time. The set launches on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 9 p.m. EST, continuing the roughly one-per-month expansion cadence that brought Pulsing Aura just weeks prior. The reveal trailer confirmed a variety of new cards across multiple rarities, all of which will be available in the pack.

ex Cards Headline the Wave

It would be impossible to have an expansion based on Paradox Pokémon without featuring Miraidon and Koraidon. These cover legends of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet lead the ex cards in Paradox Drive, appearing as four-diamond ex variants. They are joined by Flutter Mane ex (the Ancient Paradox form of Misdreavus) and Iron Bundle ex (the Future Paradox form of Delibird).

Illustration Rares, Tools, and More

Beyond the ex cards, the trailer showed off a range of other rarities. The one-star illustration rares feature Ancient Raging Bolt and Future Iron Boulder. Lower-rarity Pokémon include Iron Hands, Farigiraf, and Scream Tail at one diamond, while Kingambit and Garganacl appear at three diamonds. The only two-diamond cards revealed are non-Pokémon: the Pokémon Tools Ancient Booster Energy Capsule and Future Booster Energy Capsule, plus the Supporters Professor Sada and Professor Turo. All these cards will be obtainable in Paradox Drive booster packs starting May 27.
