Valorant Gekko Guide – Abilities, Minions & Contract

Riot Games has introduced Gekko, the 22nd playable Agent in Valorant, who hails from Los Angeles. His design draws heavily from skater and punk culture, featuring a skateboard and graffiti-inspired minions that reflect an East LA background. As an Initiator-type Agent, Gekko relies on a crew of creature-like companions to disrupt and control the battlefield.

Gekko’s abilities center around these minions. Dizzy is launched into the air, targeting and temporarily blinding enemies in its line of sight. Wingman charges toward opponents, delivering a concussive blast to the first target it sees, and can also be used to plant or defuse the Spike. Mosh Pit is thrown like a grenade, duplicating across the area on impact before exploding. Gekko’s ultimate, Thrash, links to his mind and lunges forward, detaining any enemies caught in its explosion radius.

Gekko’s Agent Contract is available now, offering a progression path that unlocks cosmetics tied to his theme. Players can earn three Sprays, two Player Cards, one Gun Buddy, two Titles, and a Shorty skin designed to match Gekko’s graffiti-inspired style. These rewards provide a way to customize equipment while mastering the new Agent’s unique minion-based toolkit.
