A new trailer for Marvel Rivals Season 5 has officially confirmed Gambit and Rogue as the next playable characters, giving fans their first proper look at the two X-Men in action. The trailer, which showcases their abilities and designs, has also ignited speculation about a third, unannounced hero after viewers spotted a mysterious reflection in one of the closing shots.

Toward the end of the trailer, a brief close-up of a wedding ring shows the reflection of a man in a suit with sunglasses. Many fans immediately identified the figure as Cyclops (sometimes referred to as Psyclops by the community), believing the developers intentionally teased his appearance before an official announcement. Alternative suggestions have emerged—some viewers propose the reflection could be a maskless Spider-Man, Daredevil, or merely a skin for an existing character—but the prevailing theory among fans is that Cyclops is inbound. This would mirror an earlier marketing pattern: Blade was teased in a similar fashion long before he became playable. A leaker with a track record of accuracy has also named Cyclops as a future addition, further reinforcing the speculation.
