Genshin Impact Hexerei Buffs – Version 6.6 Update

According to reliable leaker Writer-X, Genshin Impact Version 6.6 will deliver the next wave of Hexerei buffs while introducing two new Hexerei characters, Nicole and Lohen. This update is expected to serve as the capstone for Mondstadt, following the Dornman Port map expansion in Version 6.5. The Hexerei system debuted in Version 6.2 with Durin as a method to revitalize older or underperforming Mondstadt characters; the first round buffed Razor, Fischl, Sucrose, Mona, Venti, Klee, and Albedo.

The Version 6.6 Hexerei buffs reportedly target Amber, Kaeya, Lisa, Jean, Noelle, Mika, and Eula. Notably absent from the list are Diluc and Bennett, which may steer certain Pyro team compositions toward the new support. Nicole, rumored to be a 5-star Pyro support, provides shields and attack buffs that scale with the number of Hexerei members on the team, potentially making her Varka’s ideal Pyro teammate. Lohen, a 5-star Cryo hypercarry, is said to join the Standard Banner pool after release, increasing accessibility.

These buffs carry significant implications for character roles. Eula, whose Physical hypercarry design has struggled in an Elemental Reaction-focused meta, could see a revival of Physical team viability or a rework toward modern synergies—especially given that Sandrone in Version 6.7 is rumored to be a Superconduct-focused unit. Meanwhile, Jean and Mika could become powerful support options in Varka’s teams under the Hexerei effect. The beta for Version 6.6 is scheduled to begin on April 8, 2026.
