PUBG Season 4: New Lore & Map Overhaul

A new cinematic trailer for Season 4 introduces Erangel’s backstory: the island was invaded years ago, and the sole survivor—a boy at the time—has now turned that trauma into a recurring bloodbath. Because nothing says ‘the will to survive’ like sacrificing 99 other people for the sake of one person’s therapy. It’s a classic battle royale narrative twist, though PUBG has mostly avoided storytelling up to now.
