PUBG PC Clan System Leak: Details, Cost & Release
Frequent PUBG dataminer PlayerIGN has uncovered evidence of a clan system being added to the PC version of the game. The leaked assets, shared via Twitter, include images and metadata that outline how the feature might work when it arrives—though no release date has been confirmed.
According to the datamine, creating a clan will cost 5,000 Battle Points (BP). Clans will support a title of 2–15 characters, a tag of 2–4 characters, a slogan limited to 30 characters, and a presentation field of up to 180 characters. Membership will be capped at 20 players. The system also appears to include a recruitment feature, where prospective members can submit “resumes” to join a clan. It is unclear whether these resumes will be auto-generated based on player stats or allow custom input.
PlayerIGN has a track record of accurate predictions, having previously leaked PUBG Global Championship skins. This lends credibility to the clan system leak. Additionally, the datamine found “No Clan” labels on the Leaderboard, suggesting that clans may be integrated into Ranked mode once the feature goes live.
PUBG Mobile received a clan system in July 2018, so a similar addition on PC is hardly surprising. The remaining question is when—Krafton has not announced a timeline for the feature, leaving players to watch for future patch notes.
